We have been informed that the Ocean Beach Entryway Project, Phase II (the path that connects the OB Entryway to Robb Field) has been delayed and is at risk of losing its funding due to the delay.
City reps have been reporting for months that this project would break ground AND be completed before the end of the year.
In the final hour, we have been informed that the Project is delayed – this is largely attributed to the poor performance of the City Project Manager – which by the way, is the SAME project manager responsible for the Brighton Comfort Station/Bathrooms which took more than 3 years to complete.
The City has made promises that this project would be completed. The City should not break their promise to our community and should complete this project before year-end.
Check out the our Entryway Letter that the OB Community Development Corporation and the OBTC and many other community groups sent to Interim Mayor Todd Gloria, Councilman Kevin Faulconer, and other City officials.
