The Ocean Beach Town Council (OBTC) is now accepting applications for community grants that the Council will fund for the year 2016. The OBTC seeks to award grants to local organizations, groups, and persons that will promote the general betterment and beautification of Ocean Beach and the welfare of its residents.
The OBTC will award a total of $10,000 in community grants in 2016. Grant amounts will range from $300 to $1,000. To apply for an OBTC Community Grant, please complete the below form and submit it no later than 5:00pm on Friday, July 1st (UPDATE – THE DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO TUESDAY, JULY 5th by 5:00PM) to email@example.com – please have the subject line of your email read “OBTC Community Grant.”
We will send a receipt confirmation email within 2 business days – if you don’t receive a confirmation email, please contact us at 619-515-4400. The OBTC aims to announce community grant awards at our public meeting on July 27, 2016 (7:00pm at the Masonic Lodge, 1711 Sunset Cliffs Blvd). Awardees will be expected to attend. One page of supplemental information is permissible.
Grants are open to all, however OBTC Membership is strongly encouraged. To join the OB Town Council, go to: http://obtowncouncil.org/join-obtc/. OBTC Community Grant Recipients will be asked to provide a report that will be posted to the OTBC website on how the grant funds were utilized for the betterment and beautification of Ocean Beach. The deadline to submit your report will be by May 15, 2017 (template forthcoming).
