Our thanks to San Diego County Supervisor Ron Roberts, San Diego City Councilman Ed Harris, and everyone who joined us last month in unveiling and celebrating the new OB Entryway Sign!
The new sign is weather-resistant and made with sustainable materials – some of the same materials that surfboards are made of. The look was modeled after our community’s long-standing entryway sign – as chosen by the OB community in a vote facilitated by the OB Town Council from a field of outstanding designs by local artists. The community expressed that the design is a beloved symbol of our unique community, and is a landmark that our residents fiercely protect and defend.
We are grateful to Supervisor Roberts, who was instrumental in providing funding for the new sign and worked closely with the OB Town Council Board of Directors to complete the project, and of course to Integrated Signs, which created the new sign.
