Calling all who want to do some good in the neighborhood… The Ocean Beach Town Council (OBTC) is now accepting applications for community grants that the Council will fund for the year 2017. The OBTC seeks to award grants to local organizations, groups, and persons that will promote the general betterment and beautification of Ocean Beach and the welfare of its residents.

The OBTC will award a total of $12,000 in community grants in 2017. Grant amounts range from $200 to $1,500. To apply for an OBTC Community Grant, please complete the form at the link below and submit it no later than 5:00pm on Saturday July 1st to info@obtowncouncil.org – please have the subject line of your email read “OBTC Community Grant.” One page of supplemental information is permissible. Grants are open to all, however OBTC Membership is strongly encouraged.

The OBTC aims to announce community grant awards at our public meeting on July 26 2017 (7:00pm at the Masonic Lodge, 1711 Sunset Cliffs Blvd). Awardees will be expected to attend. OBTC Community Grant Recipients will be asked to provide a report that will be posted to the OTBC website on how the grant funds were utilized for the betterment and beautification of Ocean Beach. Please include photos wherever possible. We love seeing photos! The deadline to submit your report will be by May 15, 2018 (template forthcoming.)
