In need of locally made soy candles, children’s adventure kits, handcrafted jewelry, or droplet terrariums with air plants?  Then check-out Teeter - there’s something for everyone (foodie, urban horticulturists, modern design aficionados, devout supporters of local economies, and/or the young at heart!) Owner and OBTC member Keely LaRochelle Belding has been a resident of OB for over 14 years and opened Teeter in July. As reported in the OB Rag, “she has quickly built a network of local artists to showcase their wares while starting up arts and crafts classes for neighbors.“I love Newport, but there’s a lot of cool stuff happening around here,” Belding said. “We want to be a part of the community.”

In that vein of supporting the OB community, Teeter is hosting community classes and events, such as candle-making workshops and meditative yoga sessions - Teeter even hosted an OBTC Board Meeting! Keely also started “Harvest OB” – an online group that shares overproducing local edibles with neighbors.

Teeter is located at 5021 Niagara (behind Nati’s).
